Important responsibilities of the group's conservation department are cataloguing bio-diversity in the group's conservation areas and monitoring the health and progress of flora and fauna that are identified. Camera traps are used to assist with this process and have established that the conservation areas remain rich in wildlife, including fireback pheasants, bearded pigs, orangutans (see photograph) and pig tailed macaques.
