The REA group is principally engaged in the cultivation of oil palms in the Indonesian province of East Kalimantan and in the production of crude palm oil and palm products from fruit harvested from its oil palms.

Conservation

The REA group plans the development of its agricultural operations on the basis of environmental impact assessments and independent experts' advice. Within already developed areas, approximately 6,000 hectares have been left intact as conservation reserves with the aim of conserving flora and fauna and enhancing the biodiversity of the landscape.
